1 hr - Cuenta la leyenda que la isla ha sido construida a lo largo de los siglos por marineros locales que mantuvieron un antiguo juramento después de encontrar el ícono de la Virgen y el Niño en la roca del mar el 22 de julio de 1452. Al regresar de cada viaje exitoso, puso una roca en la bahía. Con el tiempo, el islote emergió gradualmente del mar. La costumbre de arrojar piedras al mar sigue viva incluso hoy en día. Cada año, al atardecer del 22 de julio, se lleva a cabo un evento llamado "Fašinada", cuando los residentes locales toman sus botes y arrojan piedras, ensanchando la superficie de la isla. Además de la iglesia del siglo XVII, también hay un museo de obsequios que fueron donados principalmente por marineros y capitanes que habían vivido las tormentas, las batallas y mucho tiempo en mar abierto.

Had a great day with Slavko. He was really funny and told me a lot of interesting stories. He also knew the best viewpoints in Kotor bay and explained the history behind all these city walls. Highly recommended!
What an amazing day in Montenegro! Our tour guide and driver, Slauno?, was the best! He was very informative and loads of fun! The tour was everything we asked for except almost missing the ship (totally our fault, but due to all of the changes Azamara made to our cruise itinerary along the way)! We had originally scheduled more time there but they had shortened our stay considerably and we miscalculated everything! He had no idea and we were the last 4 on the ship! They were actually pulling away without us! Moral of the story is by all means take this tour but if you're on a cruise double check everything! This was one of the best tours we took!
Our guide Nina and driver Johnny were really terrific to work with. Nina was extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of her country and very charming as well. The weather wasn’t the best but we enjoyed our time.
Our tour guide, Radosav, was right there to pick us up. He was very friendly & accommodating with one of us who needed a little assistance. He had great stories about the history of the places we toured, which really added to our experience. I would highly recommend this tour. It was a lot of fun.
Excellent guide Nikola and his driver. Relaxing 5 hours totally worth the day. It’s a great couple of towns , going to be a must see in a few years.
